University Village of Winona

Domain was the lead designer for Collegeville Development Group's first community development, the University Village of Winona. We designed each residence and worked with Coen+Partners to develop a master plan that would foster a sense of community among the residents and with Saint Mary's University, which is adjacent to the village. The community of 36 single-family dwellings is focused on older adults, seeking to enrich and engage them in the life of the University. The design of each residence embraces the concepts of Universal Design, which accommodates the changing physical limitations of aging. Residents share a community center, also designed by Domain with others associated with Saint Mary's.
